Sauble River is one of the largest rivers on the Bruce Peninsula. We drove up the road along the river to the forth bridge. There is one main obstacle, which is Sauble Falls and many small rapids the farther you go up the river. Above the falls you can canoe for a good distance. Also, below the falls to Sauble Beach is good for a canoe. There are rentals at Sauble Falls.
Below Sauble Falls you can catch many species of fish, most people fish for Salmon and Rainbow. Above the falls bass and pike are common but can be hard to catch. There is Brown but only the Brown Fishermen can find them.
