Traveling north on the 400, Parry Sound is the first main town on the Precambrian shield. It is a main stop for tourists, trekkers, fishermen and people traveling Georgian Bay by boat. If you like rocks and lots of small lakes you will love this area. We really like to go into the wilderness by boat or canoe and have also taken a float plane to an inland lake. New in the area are helicopter tours, which would be a great way to see all the small lakes and Parry Sound Bay.
The last photo is Central Helicopters which is located in Parry Sound. They can also be booked for major events in Central Ontario.
