The day we were there the wind was gusty and the light for our camera was not great. There was enough wind for practicing and fun tricks.
A good onshore wind along the Lake Huron side of the Bruce Peninsula is best in the spring and fall, but summer can be good. There are many beaches that have public access. Best locations are Sauble Beach, Oliphant, Red Bay and Dorcus Bay. We would recommend Dorcus Bay if you don’t know the area.
There is one local kite school.
