Southern Ontario Circle Drive
This is a general personal opinion of the site owner and is not influenced by any tourist organization.
We are going to assume you are flying in to Toronto, renting a car and staying in hotels or motels. We will be bypassing some interesting areas because of time and distance. This one or two week trip involves less than twenty-four hours of driving. For a Canadian that is not a lot!
We recommend that you spend extra time at Niagara Falls, Bruce Peninsula, Ottawa, Kingston area and Toronto.
Note. We are not going to tell you how to get to a location or time to spend. This would take the fun out of your trip.
1: From the airport drive to Niagara Falls. This will only take an hour.
2: Drive to Godirich, the old HWY 8 was a native trail joining Niagara Falls and Gogerich
Things to do: Alexander Graham Bell house in Brantford, Shopping in St. Jacobs, Shakespearian Festival in Stratford.
3: Drive to Wiarton
Things to do: Beaches, beaches and more beaches and quaint towns. Stop for a sunset if it looks like a clear night.
4: Tour around the Bruce Peninsula.
5: Drive to Ottawa
You now have three options.
A: Take the Ferry at Tobermory, go to Sudbury then to Ottawa.
Things to do: Sudbury Science North, Mine Tours, Ottawa River White Water Rafting and Ottawa.
B: Drive along the shore to Owen Sound, go to Midland, then Bracebrige and though Algonquin Park to Ottawa.
Things to do: Owen Sound Inglis Falls, Blue Mountain Slide Rides, Midland Native Village and Boat Tour, Boat tour at Bracebridge, Beaches, Algonquin Park Wilderness and Ottawa.
C: Drive along the shore to Owen Sound, go to Midland, then Bracebrige, up to Sudbury and across to Ottawa.

6: Ottawa to Kingston
Things to do: Kingston history and one thousand islands
7: Drive to Toronto
Things to do: There are to many things to list. Try not to drive at rush hour
